Donald W. Linck II, DDS
Dr. Linck received his dental degree from the University of California in San Francisco. He practiced general dentistry in the U.S. Navy and Berkeley prior to earning his specialty certification in orthodontics from Columbia University. Dr. Linck’s belief in continuing professional education earned him his Master of Science degree with his thesis topic being distraction osteogenesis of the facial skeleton from the University of Donau in Krems, Austria, in 2004.
Dr. Linck has maintained a full time, exclusive orthodontic practice in Pleasant Hill, California, since 1968 as well as a maintained a satellite office in Hercules. He is currently a clinical professor of orthodontics and on the faculty of Roseman University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine, an associate professor at the University of the Pacific, former associate professor at University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine, former associate professor at the University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry, and clinical assistant professor at the Stanford University Medical Center Department of Plastic Surgery. He is on the staff at John Muir Hospital, Stanford Hospital, Lucile Packard Hospital, and the Children’s Hospital and Research Center in Oakland.
His professional affiliations include: The American Society of Orthodontists, life member of the California Dental Association, American Dental Association, Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, founding member of the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics, and former Chairman of Peer Review Board of the California State Society of Orthodontics. Additionally, he is a member of the Edward H. Angle Society and Roth-Williams International Society of Orthodontists, Roth Study Club International, and a former member of the Academy of Oro-Facial Pain and Foundation for Advanced Continuing Education.
Dr. Linck has lectured worldwide to orthodontists, oral surgeons, physicians, and allied health professionals on TMJ dysfunction, orthognathic surgery, cleft palate treatment, craniofacial treatment, distraction osteogenesis, bone anchors, and complex orthodontics. He has performed charitable cleft palate work with “Operation Esperanza” in Ecuador and Mexico with the Samaritan Volunteers. He also acts as a mentor to many young orthodontics just starting in practice. Dr. Linck has a passion for orthodontics and truly cares about the health of his patients.

Linda C. Linck—Office Manager
Linda has worked at our practice for over 38 years. She attended the University of California as well as the University of California, San Francisco so she could become a registered physical therapist. Linda loves working with people and makes sure our team manages details correctly. She has three grown children and two grandchildren. Linda has worked with and led the Board of Trustees for the Delta Gamma Foundation, raising large sums by actually visiting and thanking donors. She is also on the Board of Directors for the Glaucoma Research Foundation.
Tammy Ashton—Front Desk Receptionist & Registered Dental Assistant
Tammy loves being part of a wonderful team that feels like family. We believe in doing all we can to accommodate for patients and help them through this journey of gaining better well-being and a beautiful smile. Tammy also loves the boutique feel of our practice. When needed, she is able to help in both the front and back offices. Tammy has three grown daughters, a 13-year-old Border Collie named Dakota, and three chickens who are a lot of fun. In her spare time, she likes cooking and doing interior design.
Aprile L. Deneau—Registered Dental Assistant
Aprile has worked in this field for over 25 years, and she truly enjoys her job. She has learned so much from Dr. Linck and still learns something new daily. Aprile strives to give her patients comfort, happiness, and education. She loves being a positive part of patients’ lives and seeing them gain self-confidence. Aprile is married and has four fur babies, three kitties and a dog, who are her world. Some of her hobbies include reading, being with friends, gardening, listening to music, watching movies, drawing, and attending Giants baseball games.
